Kunde

1. New order or Renewal
Libri Access

2. New order or renewal is sent to publisher with prepayment, if the publisher's price is known. Journal's URL is checked and registered in our system. We ask the publisher to provide online access and forward the required access codes and instructions.
Verlag 3. Subscription is entered or renewed. Ideally, the publisher will confirm the subscription and send us the access codes (subscription or account number etc.) and instructions.

In most cases, however, wedo not receive these codes automatically but have to contact the publisher several times before we receive the required information.
Libri Access

4. If the publisher sends us the access information, we forward them to our customer immediately and enter them into the LibriAccess list of electronic journals.
Kunde

5. The customer must check whether online access has been provided by the publisher and is requested to inform us immediately if access is still denied. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to check whether online access has been provided.
Libri Access

6. If the customer informs us that online access is not provided, we ask the publisher to grant access and send us the access information immediately. We repeat our request until we receive the required information and can forward this information to our customer.

Verlag 7. Many publishers require further customer's details, such as IP addresses, contact person, e-mail address etc. We forward these details to the publisher if known to us.

N.B. If the publisher should send the access code (subscription or account number) directly to the customer, we ask the customer send us this information so that we can enter the number in the LibriAccess list.

b) Access to electronic version available as Site Licence - included in print subscription or at extra charge

Kunde

1. New order or renewal

Libri Access

2. New order or renewal is sent to publisher with prepayment, if the publisher's price is known. Journal's URL is checked and registered in our system. We ask the publisher to provide online access and forward the required access codes, instructions and licence agreement for the Site Licence, if this is not known.

Quite often, we have to ask the publishers for a quotation for a subscription with Site Licence. We often need to forward customer details to the publisher, such as number of users and sites, IP addresses etc. As soon as we know the publisher's price we place the order with prepayment
Verlag 3. Subscription is entered or renewed. In most cases, the publishers require a licence agreement signed by the customer.
Kunde

4. Customer needs to complete and sign the licence agreement or forward the information required by the publisher.

The signed licence agreement is then sent either to Karger Libri or directly to the publisher.

Libri Access

5. If the customer sent their signed licence agreement to Karger Libri it will be forwarded to the publisher immediately.
Verlag 6. Upon receipt of signed agreement publisher will grant access.

7. The customer must check whether online access has been provided by the publisher and is requested to inform us immediately if access is still denied. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to check whether online access has been provided.

c) Access to electronic version or Site Licence, if ordered after the print subscription.

Kunde

1. Print subscription has already been ordered. Customer decides to upgrade the subscription by ordering regular access to the electronic version or a Site Licence.

2. Quite often, we have to ask the publishers for a quotation for a subscription with Site Licence. We often need to forward customer details to the publisher, such as number of users and sites, IP addresses etc. As soon as we know the publisher's price we place the order with prepayment and the details of the print subscription

The publisher is requested to grant regular or Site Licence access and to send us the required access details, if these are not known.
